How much are the classes?

Each class runs for 1 hour and 15 mins and is $29.50 each. The term payment of $295 must be paid in full before your child’s place in the class is secured. This term fee is for 10 classes.

Can my child do a few trial lessons at the beginnng of the term to see if they like it?

Unfortunately no. Each class has a limited number of places. The program is a 10 week commitment and requires full term payment before your child can start.

The program consists of 10 set lessons working on specific objectives in each lesson. If you decide to withdraw your child early on during the term I am unable to then fill that spot with someone else as they will have missed the first few lessons. That spot will sit vacant for the remainder of the term.

What do I need to do before class?

Please arrive 5 mins early so you can visit the bathroom with your child to ensure they are ready to begin the class on time. There’s a lot to cover so learning starts immediately. We are unable to wait for children who are late. Please also arrive on time after class to pick your child up. Late fees apply. Please wash your child’s hands and face before class to ensure all food residue has been removed so that the children at risk of Anaphylaxis are safe.

Can I stay with my child at the class?

We welcome you to stay if you would like to learn along with us. We love parental involvement. If your child has younger siblings please ensure they are supervised by you, are not disruptive to the class and they avoid playing with the activities that are set up for the children attending the class.

What do I need to bring?

As we use the outdoor learning space, please bring a coat in the colder months and a hat in the warmer months. Please also apply sunscreen to your child. Children DO NOT need to bring food to the session. Please ensure they eat lunch or a substantial snack prior to the class. Please bring a drink bottle of water with your child’s name on it.

My child has a medical condition. What do I need to provide?

Please provide the necessary information on the enrolment form about your child’s medical condition and medication. For children with Asthma and Anaphylaxis, we require your child to have an Action/Management Plan signed by your GP. You will need to bring the action plan and medication with your child to the class. Our teacher Emma has the necessary Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management Certifications, as well as first aid.

My child goes to Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Psychology sessions. Will this class replace these sessions?

No. Our classes are designed to be complementary to such therapies. They cannot replace them. Whilst some of the techniques we use in class are the same, we are not able to replace the care of specialised health professionals such as the aforementioned.
